Job summary

The role involves delivering supervision, helping clients achieve personal goals, assisting with personal care, and keeping the facility clean and safe. A high school diploma and experience with the developmentally disabled population are required.

• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills required.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Service orientation with active listening and monitoring of clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute Curriculum Program per program schedule.
• Provide supervision and active treatment through program and assist clients in achieving goals.
• Assist with the personal care needs of adults enrolled in services.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep facility and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Intervene in crisis situations and complete necessary documentation when required.
• Demonstrate teamwork with staff and clients served in the agency.
• Administer assessments for clients as directed by supervisors.
• Provide medication administration to clients on a routine or as-needed basis, if applicable.
• Keep trainings and Behavior Support Plans current.
• Transport and supervise clients during agency activities; may use personal vehicle.
• Cross-train in all day services programs to provide relief.
• All other duties as assigned by director.
