Job summary

Friendship Community Care in Tucker, AR is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality services in home and community settings. You will assist clients with daily living skills and participate in activity planning and supervision.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (or 2+ years of experience with developmentally disabled individuals) and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 2+ years' experience with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and follow care plans and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assists Clients in basic living skills and daily personal tasks.
• Provides transportation to activities and appointments as needed.
• Maintains documentation and records as required (behavioral reports, incident reports, forms, progress notes).
• Follows proper medication management guidelines and assists in monitoring procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; treats clients with dignity and respect.
