Job summary

Empac Group, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide individualized support in a day habilitation program. This full-time role promotes independence, inclusion, and community participation while ensuring health and safety for adults with developmental disabilities.

You'll work Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, and may drive to activities as needed, collaborating with a supportive team to help develop skills and meaningful routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education/experience in human services or related field preferred.
• Previous experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support, supervision, and assistance to adults in a day habilitation program.
• Promote independence, inclusion, skill-building, and community participation.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of each individual served.
