Spurwink is hiring Direct Support Recovery Workers at their Rumford, ME facility. This role provides direct services to support a recovery lifestyle for residents in the program, including administering medications and maintaining a therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license required.
• Must be CRMA certified.
• 1-2 years of direct care/mental health or relevant life experience required.
• Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment; then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• CRMA responsible for passing and documenting psych and medical medications for residents.
• Monitor health and safety of residents.
• Overnight chores to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Communicate observations to day staff during shift changes.
• Complete required documentation.
• Participate in supervision with direct supervisor.
• Attend weekly clinical team meetings.
