Job summary

Spurwink is hiring Direct Support Recovery Workers at their Sabattus facility. This role provides direct services to support individuals with mental health disorders living in the Adult PNMI program, including administering client medications and maintaining a therapeutic milieu.

• Supports residents with tasks of daily living.
• Serve as a positive role model to clients at all times.
• Attends weekly clinical team meetings and monthly supervision with Program Coordinator.
• Assists clients to meet treatment goals and implement the treatment plan.
• Provide transportation and attend doctor appointments and community outings.
• Ensure physical safety of all residents at all times.
• Develop and implement structured activities or groups for residents.

Job description

Spurwink is hiring hard-working candidates like you to become Direct Support Recovery Workers at their facility in Sabattus. This position provides direct services to support individuals with mental health disorders living in the Adult PNMI program. All positions within this classification administer client medications and provide services that support a therapeutic co-occurring milieu. A 40-hour CRMA certification is preferred. This position pays $21.50 per hour.

DUTIES:

• Supports residents with support to accomplish tasks of daily living.
• Serve as a positive role model to clients at all times.
• Attends weekly clinical team meetings and monthly supervision with Program Coordinator.
• Assists clients to meet treatment goals and implement the treatment plan.
• Provide transportation and attend with supporting doctor appointments and community outings.
• Ensure physical safety of all residents at all times.
• Develop and implement structured activities, recreation and/or therapeutic activities or groups for residents, i.e., trips, discussions, games and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license required. Associate's degree or equivalent training in mental health preferred. 40-hour CRMA course preferred.
