Job summary

Spurwink in Sabattus, ME, is seeking hard-working candidates for the Awake Night Direct Support Recovery Worker role to provide direct services to adults with mental health disorders in the Adult PNMI program. You will help residents with daily living tasks, monitor safety, and assist with treatment goals while administering medications under CRMA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; must maintain a current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent training in mental health preferred; CRMA course and MHRT-1 certification within one year are required for continued status.
• Must become MHRT-1 and maintain trainings to uphold status.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents with daily living tasks.
• Serve as a positive role model to clients at all times.
• Participate in supervision with direct supervisor.
• Assist clients to meet treatment goals and implement the treatment plan.
• Ensure physical safety of all residents at all times.
• Follow proper medication procedures related to administering and documentation of meds under CRMA guidelines.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree or equivalent training in mental health

MHRT-1 certification within one year
