Job summary

Spurwink in Lisbon, ME is hiring a Direct Support Recovery Worker to provide direct services supporting a recovery lifestyle for residents. You will administer client medications and participate in bi-weekly staff meetings under supervision of the Program Coordinator.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, 1+ year mental health or substance use experience, CRMA and MHRT-1 (or ability to obtain within a year). We welcome people with lived experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license required.
• At least 1 year of mental health/substance use experience and CRMA certification required.
• MHRT-1 or ability to obtain within one year of employment required.
• 1-2 years of direct care/mental health or relevant life experience preferred.
• People in recovery or with lived experience are welcome to apply!

DUTIES:

The Direct Support Recovery Worker provides direct services to support a recovery lifestyle for people living in the program. All positions within this classification administer client medications and provide services that support a therapeutic co-occurring milieu. This position attends bi-weekly staff meetings. Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license required.At least 1 year of mental health/substance use experience and CRMA certification required. MHRT-1 or ability to obtain within one year of employment required. 1-2 years of direct care/mental health or relevant life experience preferred.
