Job summary

Spurwink is seeking Direct Support Recovery Workers in Lisbon to provide direct services and support a recovery lifestyle for residents. You will administer medications and help maintain a therapeutic milieu while participating in weekly program staff meetings and other team discussions.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of mental health/substance use experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of mental health/substance use experience required.
• Must become MHRT1 within 1 year of employment; ongoing trainings to maintain MHRT1 status.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety of residents.
• Overnight chores to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Communicate information and observations to day staff during shift changes.
• Complete required documentation.
• Actively participate in supervision with direct supervisor.
• Attend required weekly clinical team meetings.
