Job summary

Prairie Community Services is seeking a part-time Direct Support Provider at Elkwood Home in Warroad, MN. You will supervise, care for and ensure safety of individuals in daily living activities, recreation and community orientation, including medication management and meal preparation. Starting wage $16.75-$18.75 per hour.

Must be 17+, have valid driver’s license, pass DHS background check, and read/write/communicate in English. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure.
• Must pass DHS background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand the English language while conducting company business.
• Read, comprehend, and follow each person served’s program related plans and procedures.
• Deliver support to the person served on principles of person-centered services.
• Administer CPR/First Aid when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, care and safety to individuals served.
• Support daily living activities, recreation and community orientation.
• Assist with medication management, meal preparation, laundry and cleaning.
