Job summary

Amego Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Massachusetts to support and empower individuals in their daily routines and programs.

DSPs implement clinical, educational and vocational activities, collect data, and maintain logs while ensuring safety and a supportive environment. The role involves assisting with daily schedules, documenting progress, participating in team meetings, and potentially transporting individuals or driving company vehicles.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An active and valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities

• Implement clinical, educational and vocational programs on a daily basis.
• Assist in carrying out tasks and daily routines and participate in recreational activities as scheduled.
• Observe and record accurate data for programs and update the daily log.
• Read the daily log to update information and sign off upon completion.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and follow cleaning schedules.
• Report repair needs and maintain a safe environment including snow/ice removal in winter.
• Attend team meetings and participate in program planning.
• Communicate professionally with supervisor, coworkers, individuals and families.
• Assist in transporting individuals to activities and may drive company vehicles.
• Complete required trainings and certifications and safeguard individuals’ rights.

Education
