Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, seeks a Part Time Direct Support Professional in Minot, ND. The role offers a schedule with Sunday 8am–10pm and Friday 5pm–10pm in Week 1, plus Friday 5pm–10pm and Saturday 8am–10pm in Week 2.

You will assist participants with daily living tasks, foster independence, and support community participation. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, six months in human services, strong communication, adaptability, and time-management.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy activities.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.

Part Time Direct Support Professional $18.50 per hour.

Week 1: Sunday 8am - 10pm, Friday 5pm - 10pm

Week 2: Friday 5pm - 10pm, Saturday 8am - 10pm

This position requires someone who has had a valid Driver's License for at least one year post permit, and a clean Motor Vehicle Report that meet's Sevita's insurability policy.
