Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring a Full Time Direct Support Professional in Minot, ND to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living well and engaging with their community.

You’ll work a consistent schedule with listed Week 1 and Week 2 shifts, provide daily living support, personal hygiene assistance, and help participants set and reach goals related to budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with access to a registered vehicle and insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and help participants achieve daily living goals.
• Support participants in community activities and everyday routines.

Full Time Direct Support Professional $18.50 per hour.

Week 1: Monday 5pm-10pm, Tuesday 5pm-10pm, Thursday 4pm-10pm, Friday 4pm-10pm, Saturday 8am-10pm

Week 2: Sunday 8am-10pm, Monday 5pm-10pm, Tuesday 5pm-10pm, Thursday 4pm-10pm, Friday 4pm-10pm

This position requires someone who has had a valid Driver's License for at least one year post permit, and a clean Motor Vehicle Report that meet's Sevita's insurability policy.
