We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual living in Cedar Grover, Essex County, NJ.
This is a community-based position. The DSP will provide support in the individual’s home and assist with safe, structured participation in community activities.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently in a one-on-one setting.
Our approach to services is person-centered, meaning we focus on the individual’s preferences in what they would like out of services.
Seeking a consistent and dependable DSP to accompany him to his volunteer opportunity at a comic bookstore and help identify other enjoyable, engaging activities in the community. The family is easygoing and supportive, but consistency and reliability are important. The ideal DSP will be patient, personable, and interested in helping him explore activities based on his interests
Monday & Wednesday OR Wednesday & Thursday 12:00pm -3:30pm
