Job summary

The Direct Support Professional at Beacon Light Behavioral Health System will help ensure the safety and well-being of residents in the STRIDE unit, implementing individualized treatment plans and supporting activities of daily living.

You will assist with medication administration when certified, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote recovery and reintegration for children and adolescents with complex behavioral health needs.

• $17.10 per hour

Position Summary

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting activities of daily living, utilizing positive behavior supports, assisting with medication administration (when certified), maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to promote recovery, independence, and successful reintegration into home and community settings. The Specialized Therapeutic Residence for Intellectual and Developmental Empowerment (STRIDE) program is a Joint Commission-accredited residential treatment program serving children and adolescents with complex behavioral health needs who require intensive, longer-term treatment.
