Description

Townsbury Spec is a residential facility for behaviorally challenged children.

We are seeking flexible days and hours; however, our primary need is the shift from 3 pm to 11 pm (Monday through Friday or on weekends).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities
• Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber
• Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans
• Observe, document, and acknowledge positive behaviors
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High School or better. Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health, etc.) is preferred. Preference to those interested in enrolling in an MSW program, to achieve growth within the agency.

Experience: 1 year or more with a high school diploma working with youth in a behavioral group setting.

Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license.
