Job summary

Sayre House, a program of Youth Consultation Service (YCS), in Farmingdale, NJ, seeks a Direct Support Professional to supervise and support girls ages 12-15. The role involves coordinating activities, working with the youth's team, and following behavior plans for a therapeutic environment.

Description

Sayre House is a home for girls ages 12-15.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities
• Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth's structured routine while collaborating with youth's case manager, clinician, and prescriber
• Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans
• Observing, documenting, and acknowledging positive behaviors
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health etc.), Psychology preferred. Preference to those interested in enrolling in an MSW program, to achieve growth within the agency.

High school diploma requires 3 years or more experience working with youth in a behavioral or group setting.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Schedule: Weekdays or Weekends Full time/Part time or On-Call shifts
