Options For All is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in San Diego County and surrounding areas. You’ll empower clients to achieve independence, advocate for their rights, and create engaging activities that fit individual goals.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Options For All, you’ll play a vital role in helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) achieve independence and thrive in their communities.

What we’re looking for

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Previous experience in caregiving, social work, life skills coaching, as a teaching assistant or volunteering is a plus but not required.

Skills:

• Empathy, patience, and the ability to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Adaptability to address individual’s needs with care and flexibility.
• Basic tech skills (mobile phone use, email, Microsoft, electronic database systems)
