Options For All, a nonprofit serving adults with disabilities in San Diego County, seeks a Direct Support Professional. You will support individuals in building independence and participating in their communities, following health and safety practices.

What you’ll be doing

As a Direct Support Professional, you will support adults with disabilities in building independence and participating fully in their communities.

In this role, you will:

• Support individuals with daily activities, personal goals, and life skills
• Encourage independence, dignity, and community inclusion
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families, caregivers, and community partners
• Plan meaningful and engaging activities based on each person’s goals and interests
• Help individuals connect with their communities through work, volunteer, and social opportunities
• Follow health and safety practices to provide high-quality support
• Complete documentation using basic mobile and computer systems

This is a community-based role and includes regular driving between locations.

Experience
