Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring full-time and part-time Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll help them live well and participate in community activities, building meaningful relationships and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management are valued.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support participants with complex needs.
• Help participants achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Support participants in community participation and daily living activities.
