Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and help people live well while building rewarding relationships.

As a caregiver, you’ll assist with personal care, support daily goals, and participate in a stable, growth‑oriented workplace with full benefits for full-time employees. Hourly pay starts at $16.50.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Requires communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and goals like budgeting and nutrition.
• Provide compassionate, patient, reliable care aligned with Sevita's mission.
• Document progress and communicate with supervisors and care team.
