Whole Life is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Killingly, CT. The DSP helps adults with developmental and physical disabilities with daily living activities, community integration, and personalized care plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/ GED/ transcripts required.
• Proof of valid driver’s license and identity documents.
• Background check, safe driving record, and Abuse Registry Check required.
• Able to stand, move, bend, lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Must document care in English and communicate with clients/co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Ensure a clean, safe living environment with light housekeeping/laundry.
• Engage clients in social activities and community outings.
• Document daily activities and incidents accurately; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Implement individualized care plans.
