Job summary

Whole Life is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team. DSPs provide person-centered care to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, supporting ADLs, independence, and community integration while ensuring safety and dignity.

You will collaborate with managers, providers, and families to implement personalized care plans, help clients achieve goals, and foster fulfilling, meaningful lives within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proof of High School diploma, transcripts, or GED equivalent.
• Ability to document care in English and communicate with clients and staff.
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and support medical appointments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment via light housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage clients in social activities, community outings, and promote independence.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incidents accurately.
