Job summary

ACCESS Group in Cabot, Arkansas is hiring a Part-Time Caregiver / Direct Support Professional. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, support independence, and participate in community activities.

No prior DSP experience is required; ACCESS will provide the training you need before you begin working directly with a client. You will plan and participate in activities, provide transportation, and maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to satisfactorily perform each essential job duty listed.
• No prior DSP experience required; two full days of training and orientation before working with clients (one day client-specific).

Part-Time Caregiver / Direct Support Professional

ACCESS is hiring a compassionate and dependable Caregiver / Direct Support Professional in Cabot. A Direct Support Professional, often called a DSP, provides hands‑on support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.

In this role, you will help individuals build independence, develop important life skills, participate in activities, and work toward personal goals. No previous direct support experience is required. ACCESS will provide the training you need before you begin working directly with a client.

Travel Requirements

Moderate travel is required for this position; this travel includes transporting students/clients. ACCESS drivers are required to maintain a valid Driver’s License, current auto liability insurance and registration, a clean driving record, and physical ability to drive to local and non-local locations throughout Arkansas.
