Job summary

Sunrise Services, Inc. in Mount Vernon is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a residential setting. No experience? We will pay you while we train you, with classes in Everett, WA.

Daily duties include assisting with personal care, meals, medications, budgeting, and community activities. You will clock in with a smartphone and use Therap to log behaviors and meds, while working weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required/preferred.
• Pass a DSHS background check.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Mandatory training classes.
• Valid driver’s license with clean 1-year driving abstract and proof of insurance.
• Must work one mandatory weekend shift.
• NAR and Nurse Delegation training within 30 days of completing mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily activities.
• Provide transportation for clients and accompany to events.
• Assist with personal care, meals, housekeeping, and shopping.
• Use Therap to track medications and client behaviors.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and support independence.
