The Arc of Opportunity in Hubbardston, MA is seeking Direct Support Professionals (full-time) to empower individuals with developmental disabilities. This role follows Individual Service Plans and supports daily living activities in the community and home settings.

Salary starts at $20.81–$21.85 per hour, with MAP Certification. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid leave, 401k with employer matching, and training with advancement opportunities.

Qualificações

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Active and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and sustain periods of sitting or standing.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Actively Advocate for individuals served, demonstrating the Agency’s values and mission in all interactions.
• Leveraging your knowledge and interests in the community to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life.
• Implement Individual Service Plans.
• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily living, including household tasks and chores.
• Assist individuals with appointments, including driving the Agency’s van.
• Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interactions.
• Attend all trainings and implement knowledge throughout your work.
• Communicate effectively, whether orally or in writing.
