The Arc Of Opportunity in Hubbardston, MA, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Female Candidate only) for a full-time role. The position offers $20.81 to $21.85 per hour, with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.

The schedule runs Thursday through Monday from 3pm to 11pm, totaling 40 hours weekly. MAP Certification increases pay to $21.85/hour.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED.
• Active and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs and sustain periods of sitting or standing.
• Ability to assist in a restraint if needed.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively Advocate for individuals served demonstrating the Agency’s values and mission in all interactions.
• Leverage knowledge and community interests to empower individuals and enhance quality of life.
• Implement Individual Service Plans.
• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily living, including household tasks and chores.
• Assist individuals with appointments, including driving the Agency’s van.
• Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interaction.
• Attend trainings and implement knowledge throughout your work.
• Communicate effectively whether orally or written.
