Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to join our in-home care team, helping seniors and vulnerable adults live safely and independently at home. You will provide personal care, administer medications per care plans, assist with mobility, offer companionship, and perform light housekeeping while maintaining safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active Med Cert 3 certification required.
• Experience in direct care or caregiving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Administer and manage client medications per Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans.
• Support clients with mobility needs using gait belt and Hoyer lift when required.
• Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision for client safety.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home support tasks.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or health status.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
• Follow agency policies, documentation standards, and individualized care plans.
