Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. You will provide hands-on, respectful support in a team-focused environment and follow individualized care plans.

This role offers paid training, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven nonprofit. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required; travel between Residential and Day

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
Experience in disability services is a plus but training is provided.
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs as part of daily tasks.
Valid U.S. driver’s license required with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and daily living skills.
Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
Administer medications in accordance with policy.
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
Use approved behavior support techniques.
Encourage community engagement and participation.
Travel between Residential and Day programs as needed.
