Job summary

Cadient, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support residents at Patterson 311, a six-bedroom home, and assist in the community. The DSP will help individuals with daily life skills and goals in a meaningful, supportive role.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, NYS driver’s license, and basic computer knowledge. Training includes Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration, with paid new hire orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.
• Valid NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must.
• Training will include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.
• Assist individuals with daily goals and life skills to promote independence.
