Job summary

Cadient, LLC in Kingston, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide care and skills training to residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a two-story Victorian home. The DSP will work Tue-Thu 3:00 pm–11:00 pm and Fri-Sat 1:00 pm–9:00 pm, supporting daily living, health monitoring, and community integration.

A high school diploma or GED is desired; NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Post-high-school education in Human Services is a plus.
• Valid NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge required.
• Training includes Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training to residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities in residential and community settings.
• Contribute to a positive, engaging living environment and assist with daily activities.
• Support residents in transportation, outings, and community integration as needed.
