Job summary

The Arc Mid Hudson is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Patterson 311. This role provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily life goals and participating in training programs such as Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is desired.
• Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.
• An NYS driver’s license and basic computer knowledge are a must.
• Training includes Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

Patterson 311 is a spacious cozy 6 bedroom home with 6 amazing elderly individuals. Staff who work at this residence will assist and encourage these individuals with their everyday goals and daily life skills. A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. HOURS: 40hours weekly - Monday - Friday 7a-3p

Starting Salary: $19.74- $21.71per hour plus additional differentials as applicable
