Avancer Homes LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join the Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. DSPs provide personal assistance to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, helping with daily living and safety while working with a dedicated team to promote growth and independence. Qualifications

• DSP certification or the ability to become certified through paid training.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Transportation to your shifts.
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADLs.
• Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Monitor individuals and provide redirection as needed.
• Document individuals’ activities, concerns and progress notes as required.
• Participate in in-home and community activities; may drive company vehicles.
• Provide an abuse- and neglect-free environment at all times.
