Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, IL. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Full-time and part-time positions available across all shifts, with knowledge that DSP certification can be obtained through paid training. Ideal candidates are ready to help individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities and to grow in a supportive behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• Must be DSP certified or able to become certified through our paid training.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Transportation to your shifts.
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADLs.
• Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Monitor individuals and provide redirection as needed.
• Document activities, concerns and progress notes as required.
• Participate in and potentially drive company vehicles for activities.
• Provide an abuse and neglect free environment at all times.
