Job summary

Devereux Pocono Center is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide safe, supportive care for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Duties include assisting with hygiene, daily routines, and community outings, as well as attending trainings and completing assignments as directed by the coordinator.

The role offers full-time, part-time and on-call shifts across Days, Evenings, Overnights and weekends at multiple locations including Tobyhanna, Newfoundland and more.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, team player with strong communication skills.
• Experience serving adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene and daily routines for residents.
• Support community outings and activities.
• Attend staff trainings and complete assigned tasks.
• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered care.
