RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional in the Cleveland area to support individuals with disabilities within the community and waiver services.

You will help clients identify needs, implement goals from their Centered Plans, and provide transportation and advocacy to empower individuals to live independent lives. This entry-level role involves working on a care team across home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED (Preferred)
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Increase awareness of self-advocacy and support individual choice and decision-making.
• Accompany people to work, the movies, concerts, shopping, and other community outings.
• Teach independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to appointments.
• Foster positive relationships within the community.
• Promote decision-making about living, work, and social relationships.
• Assist with personal care and bathing, and light household tasks.
