Job summary

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist a young lady in the Syracuse area, helping her participate in community activities and maintain independence. The role emphasizes reliability, patience, and enthusiasm in daily support tasks.

The position is per diem/part-time with evening hours (around 2:30–3 PM start) from Monday to Friday, and a pay rate of $20 per hour. A valid driver's license, HS diploma/GED, and background checks are required.

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence in the community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with participating in activities outside of the home that are of interest to the individual.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus but not required. Reliable transportation and an HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Work hours include Monday through Friday, starting around 2:30/3 for a few hours each evening, specifically would like services provided on Friday nights to be able to attend a dance. The pay rate is $20 per hour. This is a part-time position.
