Job summary

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist a young lady in the Syracuse area who requires support due to developmental delay. You will help participate in activities outside the home to promote independence in the community and ensure safety during outings.

We value reliability, patience, energy, and enthusiasm. Prior experience is a plus but not required; a valid driver’s license is mandatory and a background check will be performed prior to hire by the nonprofit agency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted.
• Experience working with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at job site.

Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Ny Area (Job #LB-KB)Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence in the community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with participating in activities outside of the home that are of interest to the individual.We are looking for an individual who is reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus but not required. Reliable transportation and an HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.Work hours include Monday through Friday, starting around 2:30/3 for a few hours each evening, specifically would like services provided on Friday nights to be able to attend a dance.
