Job summary

InReach is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a male individual in Charlotte, NC. This Independent Contractor role supports day programs and respite services, averaging 18 hours per week with shifts M/W/F 9a-3p.

Responsibilities include in-home instruction, helping develop social roles, promoting community integration, and monitoring medications and transportation needs. A HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.
• 1–2 years experience with the I/DD population preferred.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area, 28273. Staff will provide Day Supports and Respite Services for 18 hours a week.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays: 9a-3p

Pay Rate:

• Day Supports: $22.52/hr.
• Respite: $16.07/hr

What You'll Do:

Requirements:

• All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
