Job summary

First Resources Corp. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Hourly Services team in Albia, IA. This part-time role supports individuals with daily living skills, mobility, and community participation while helping them achieve independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, documenting progress on PCSPs, and coordinating with the care team. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; training and advancement opportunities are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration.
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift.
• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration.
• Transport clients to appointments and community events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
