Job summary

Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Illinois. DSPs provide guidance to people served, helping them learn daily living skills and life activities to live as independently as possible.

We value natural helpers, active listeners, patient teachers, and advocates who are reliable and on time. Training is provided; shift work may be required to support residents and individuals in care.

Qualifications

• Desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical activities described in job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist people served with daily living skills and life activities to promote independence.
• Monitor safety and well-being while meeting medical, nutritional and personal care needs.
• Provide emotional support and assist with housekeeping, meals and laundry as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team, people served, and families to ensure quality care.
