Job summary

Mosaic is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our team in providing compassionate, person-centered care to people served, helping them learn daily living skills and live more independently.

As a DSP, you will assist with daily activities, monitor safety, and support medical, nutritional, and personal care needs while offering emotional support and encouragement. No experience required — training provided; must be 18+ and hold a valid driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required, where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work requires frequent physical activity including standing, walking, bending with occasional kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching and balancing.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds and safe transfer of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of daily living skills and life activities to promote independence.
• Help individuals identify and achieve their goals to live their best life.
• Monitor comfort and safety and meet medical, nutritional, and personal care needs.
• Provide emotional support and assist with housekeeping, meals, and laundry.
