Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Highland, NY seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities, health management, and personal goals. You will help with recreation and home living while ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, valid NY license, and a passion for helping others. Training is provided and benefits are offered. Compensation is hourly with growth opportunities under ASCEND program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 2 years related experience preferred (or Associate's Degree with 1 year related experience).
• Valid NY Driver's License.
• Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
• A strong passion for helping children and adults with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in daily activities and personal care.
