Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Be a client advocate by ensuring clients are free from abuse and mistreatment.
• Immediately report any incident of suspected abuse or mistreatment.
• Provides assistance, instruction and guidance toward client independence.
• Respect diversity including cognitive and developmental differences.
• Serve as a role model for appropriate behavior.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to implement ISPs/IHPs/IEPs.
• Apply SMART principles and de-escalation techniques.
• Follow Woods’ safety and restraint procedures as trained.
• Use behavior management strategies as directed by clinicians.
• Assist clients at meals using adaptive equipment when prescribed.
