Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check and Motor Vehicle Records check.
• 1+ years of experience in a group home, DSP, or client care role.
• 1+ years of de-escalation/redirection experience.
• Must be physically able to perform all job duties (lifting, transfers, etc.).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with vulnerable adults living with mental illnesses.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the persons served at all times.
• Reflect values of respect, honesty, patience, and compassion in communication and relationships.
• Assist with active treatment services, daily living skills, administering medications, and ongoing development.
• Assist with transportation, document services, implement and follow care plans, and interact with stakeholders.
• Support the Designated Coordinator with tasks like scheduling, payroll, reviewing documentation, and delegating tasks.
