Job summary

Association for Individual Development is seeking an Entry Level Direct Support Professional in South Elgin, IL. You will implement client plans, document daily activities, and support recreation and daily living for individuals with developmental and other challenges.

The role includes ensuring client rights, dignity, and safety across sites, with opportunities to work across multiple locations. CNA certification is preferred and candidates should be capable of lifting and assisting with daily

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification is desired.
• Experience with developmentally disabled adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain team approach with clients, staff, and outside agencies.
• Implement programs from the Individual Plan and document per procedures.
• Attend to safety, rights, and privacy of clients; ensure clean, safe environment.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Attend meetings, shifts, and trainings; participate in staff orientation.
