Job summary

Seven Hills is seeking a Direct Support Professional I for Home-Based Therapeutic Services in Rhode Island. You will provide direct behavioral therapy to children ages 3 to 21, modeling skills and training families, in-home and community settings, promoting social, communication, and safety skills.

This part-time role features an evening schedule (Mon-Thu 4:00 pm–7:00 pm) and requires a high school diploma or GED with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D1 – 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral therapy to individuals ages 3 to 21, including role modeling and training to parents and families.
• Support the child and family by promoting individualized, person-centered, service delivery which meets identified needs.
• Ongoing communication and data reporting to clinicians and coordinators regarding the approved program.

Direct Support Professional I - HBTSPay: $24.00/hourSchedule: Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pmHome-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) workers provide specialized intensive direct support services for children with a wide range of disabilities living at home. Working collaboratively with a licensed health care professional and family members, services are provided in the home and community in age-appropriate settings with the intent of developing social skills, communication, and positive behavior.
