The SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) is seeking a Direct Support Professional I to assist residents in daily living and therapeutic activities at Turning Point, Hopkins, SC. Under supervision, you will support medication administration, documentation, and community activities, promoting wellness and safety for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and perform basic administrative tasks.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to rules and ensure health and safety of individuals with mental illness; provide direct hands-on care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and group activities; document per policy.
• Assist with medication administration and compliance.
• Support transportation to medical appointments and monitor residents during activities.
• Perform CRCF cleaning duties and assist with meals as needed.
