The Office of Mental Health within the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) seeks a Direct Support Professional II to assist residents at Turning Point-CRCDF in Hopkins, SC. You will support daily living activities and help build skills for independence.

Responsibilities include meals, cleaning, budgeting, transportation coordination, and medication assistance, all under compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and one year of direct support experience, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and model skills to residents to help them become more independent.
• Observe, record and report residents' behaviors and attendance per program rules.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and coordinate activities.
