Job summary

ASPiRE!, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals served, assisting with personal care activities and fostering independence in a safe environment.

You will collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to implement positive behavioral supports, plan engaging activities, and transport participants as needed. The role emphasizes privacy, dignity, and respect for individuality.

Qualifications

• Standard driver’s license (Class C or D)
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred
• Completion of healthcare training or competency evaluation program preferred
• Activity planning and recreational skills
• Health and safety protocols to ensure participant well-being
• Assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility
• Team collaboration and strong communication skills
• Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to address minor emergencies

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care and support aligned with individual Plans of Care.
• Assist participants with personal care needs such as dining, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to implement positive behavioral supports.
• Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate group and individual activities.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy program environment.
• Transport participants as assigned, including stepping in to drive when needed.
• Foster growth and independence by teaching skills, encouraging choices, and respecting individuality.
