• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of youth through active engagement and therapeutic interaction.
• Monitor the treatment milieu, identify safety risks, and take appropriate corrective action, escalating concerns to supervisory staff as needed.
• Support the development of a therapeutic milieu that promotes social growth, emotional expression, and self-regulation.
• Establish and maintain professional boundaries, including confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the program, including chores, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Accurately document client care, including shift notes, logs, medication administration records, and incident reports.
• Maintain awareness of individual treatment plans, safety plans, and specialized programming.
• Utilize crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies (CPI) and apply physical interventions only when necessary and authorized.
• Maintain required certifications and comply with all program and agency policies.
• Act as a reliable and collaborative team member, arriving prepared and communicating effectively with a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive perspective.

Pay: $20hr Schedule: Sunday 7a to 11p, Monday to Wednesday 3p-11p The Direct Support Professional I (DSP I) - Children's Congregate Care provides direct care and supervision to youth in Seven Hills' 24/7 acute and congregate residential care programs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and under the direction of a Shift Supervisor, the DSP I helps create and maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that supports emotional growth, stability, and positive behavioral change for children and adolescents with complex needs. This position is considered an essential role and may require working beyond scheduled shifts or reporting during declared states of emergency to maintain required staffing ratios.

What You’ll Do
